Unity Camporee welcomes groups to a weekend experience of bush camping at Camp Impeesa in Drumbo, Ontario. Throughout the weekend there are several hosted activities for all participants to take part in ranging from archery, log cutting, wood branding, Emergency Services Demonstrations/talks (OPP, Firefighters), climbing wall, and box hockey to name a few.
As the camp name, Unity, suggests it is a time for everyone to come together and network and make a new friend. There will be camp wide events such as opening, closing, badge trading, and campfire.
The goal is to allow all people to meet someone new and learn a new skill throughout the weekend and complete in some activities for prizes. There will be actives based around learning new skills or refining/learning more about something they are already invested in. These will range from knife safety + usage to saws, knots, pioneering, and vertical skills. Or you can choose to just kick back for the weekend and enjoy the offered activities at your own pace, and maybe even go for a hike around the property on the hunt to find Drumbo Dan!
